Play Skullbuggery online for free in your browser. Steer your pub patron around a crowded pub, drink pints to grow, eat smaller patrons, and belch at the right moment to shield yourself from a topple.

Every pint makes you bigger, but it also makes you drunker — and that is the catch. Normally the bigger patron eats the smaller one, but once you get hammered you become prey: any patron can topple you, no matter how small they are. So the biggest, booziest patrons are the juiciest targets. Sober up with water or food, or belch to raise a quick shield — but the drunker you are, the slower that shield is to kick in. Black out completely and you collapse on the floor, spilling your pints for everyone else to scoop up.

Each run is short and score-focused. Your size becomes your score, and the game keeps a session high score in your browser so you can chase a better run without creating an account.

How to play

• Move toward the pointer or drag on touch screens to steer through the pub.
• Collect pints and eat smaller patrons to grow. Stouts grow you faster than lite beers but get you drunk quicker.
• Watch your drunkenness. It wobbles your steering, and once you hit "hammered" you turn into prey — anyone can topple you, big or small, until you sober up. A red ring and a PREY warning flag it.
• Drink water to sober up (it trims your girth) or grab food in the restaurants to grow and sober up at once. Hunt the drunkest patrons on the board for easy kills.
• Hold click or use a second touch to stagger-charge, a burst of speed that burns girth and spikes your drunkenness.
• Press Space, right-click, or tap the BELCH control to raise a shield that stops you being eaten. It lasts a moment and then needs to recharge — and the drunker you are, the slower it is to protect you, so don't leave it too late.
• The three bars are beer-rich but risky; the three restaurants are calmer and serve food.
